Inside the 17th century house, old masters line the walls above a stunning black and white tiled floor in the elegant Marble Room. The Salon Room is decorated in rich colours, lit by crystal chandeliers, with an exquisite engraved ceiling, one of only three of its type surviving in the country. From this room, there is access to the terrace, which offers unrivalled views of the river and the tree-lined private canal. The house features some striking neoclassical door casings, fireplaces, cornicing and columns.

In addition to the main rooms, there are some fantastic basement, staircase and corridor areas. Within the grounds there are also a variety of outhouses, a modern church building, hall and school dormitory building - a legacy of the Polish boys' school housed on site until 1986.
