Location of the month, December 2011: Fifty St James

Our last location of the month for 2011 is the wonderfully glamorous Fifty St James - a four storey grandiose Mayfair private members club that is available exclusively through The Collective for filming and photography.

It is only available for a limited time, but this chameleon of a location can be adapted to a wide range of production types from a one day editorial still shoot through to a marquee location for a major feature film.

Entertainment Areas

Fifty St James has five floors of fantastic space. The first floor great hall offers a stunning mix of regency structure with complementary contemporary furnishing, large doors that can be opened to create a one fantastic space, plus furniture to be dressed as a casino.

Entertainment Areas

The ground floor and basement of Fifty St James are fully functioning entertaining areas, previously offering a Pan-Asian restaurant and cocktail bar, plus a glamorous lounge and nightclub with an illuminated catwalk floor. Both are currently available to hire as vacant rooms, or with furniture to dress.

The top floor of this vast building houses a white pillared VIP space; a hugely versatile room with fantastic furnishing and everything you would expect from an exclusive St. James address.

Exteriors, Stairwells, and Lobby

Much of the beauty of Fifty St James lays in it's extras. With grand exteriors, reception areas, and stairwells, the building offers a versatile range of possibilities - including hotel doubles or period and stately homes.

N.B Some atmospheric noise can carry into the building.

The star of the show...

With art deco glamour, seventies chic, and modern glitz - Fifty St. James is a promising option for productions looking for a versatile location with that classy edge.

At some point during 2012, Fifty St. James plan to close their doors to filming and become a private members club. So if you are interested in this venue - give us a call.

It is only here for a limited time and can only be secured for filming through The Collective.
