St David's School
An elegant and imposing neo-Gothic former comprehensive school in Ashford, Middlesex, St David’s is everything you would expect from a large vacant school with expansive grounds but also a lot more that you wouldn’t. Spread across a 30 acre site, St David’s School makes for not only a great location in itself but with a gymnasium that’s great for set build, an abundance of fully functioning production office space, a range of school out-buildings, an unique Victorian Chapel, and expansive grounds complete with a picturesque lake – St David’s really can cater for all type and scale of production.
Built in 1857 St David’s has a grand and impressive main school building that consists not only of the expected school features of classrooms, workshops, corridors but more unexpectedly an historic boardroom, performing arts centre including a theatre with state of the art lighting & sound system, boarding house, gymnasium, locker rooms and a commercial kitchen to name but a few….the remaining spaces can be seen here.
